I have no complaints about this ottoman. I needed an ottoman that was lower to accommodate the height of my new sofa. There is a lot of storage, its sturdy and is comfortable to sit on as well. The only thing that needs tweaking are how the legs screw in. When you screw the legs in they don't line up square with the corners of the ottoman. You can't find anything like this in a store and I highly recommend this piece.

First off, this was the best storage ottoman that I could find for its size, in this price range. Overall I'm satisfied. I give it 3.5 stars. My only real disappointment is the faux leather. Perhaps if it was real then it would have been the absolute steal I originally thought I was getting. It's still a good piece of furniture for the price.
Pros:
- Has a ton of storage space. I can fit my entire game and movie collection in here (over a couple hundred cases), plus remote controls. The inside space is deep enough to fit a DVD case on its side (with the spine facing upwards).
- Soft, so its safe for my 2 year old who runs around and climbs on things.
- Can rest feet on it, but it's also firm enough to set a glass on
- Nice simple design that goes with just about anything.
- Amazon Prime!
Cons:
- Most people may not be able to tell the difference, but it's not real leather. It's synthetic and the brown is not quite as rich as it looks in the photo.
- The feet get banged up in transport. Mine came all dented up because a couple were loose inside and the attached bolts mark up the soft wood.
- Minor personal gripe, but the hinges are visible from the outside (I've seen some storage ottomans where they are hidden).
- Another minor one: I couldn't quite tell from the photo, but I was hoping that the lid was hollow so that there would be a little more vertical storage space within. It has a piece of cloth stretched across it so you can't really store anything that is much higher than the bottom half, if you still want it to close.

I bought this to replace our old coffee table after our youngest started walking. We were looking for something we could use for the living room that matched our leather couches. The color is a little darker than I wanted, but it is a solid piece of furniture that looks very nice. You just attach the legs and you are good to go. I bought it on a lightning deal for under $300 which included free shipping. Sears has them on their site for over $400 plus shipping, so I feel like it is a good deal.

What will you like about this ottoman? It's a great classy looking piece of furniture, it's well-made, quality workmanship and it holds a whole-lotta-stuff. I have mine filled with blankets and pillows for when the grandkids come over. No tools needed, just tighten the legs into the pre-drilled holes. The color is very, very dark brown, like dark chocolate or strong coffee. Fast and EZ delivery by UPS. I'm glad I took a chance on this. It's a great value.

Great value on a quality item. I've been searching for a large storage ottoman like this for years, but have not seen a real leather one for less than $600 anywhere. For real leather, you can't beat that price...and FREE SHIPPING too! I ordered this on a Sunday and had it the following Thursday! How does Amazon make any money!?
